Celebrating the First 50 Years
Dear Alumni and Friends,
Each day, I hear stories of how Western Wyoming Community College has been a part of your lives. Often, I am told of your experiences in the early days at Reliance High School, in the “Old Library,” and during construction of what we now know as the “new” building. I marvel at the number of people I’ve met who have taught, worked, attended, or had family members attend WWCC. As the first shovel of dirt was turned at the groundbreaking on top of College Hill, the lives of the citizens of Southwest Wyoming were integrally linked to the Western. The reality remains that WWCC is not just a campus at the top of the hill, but it is a beautifully woven tapestry of the many lives touching Western throughout the decades.
Thank you for letting me be a small part of the WWCC Family.
Sincerely,
Dr. Karla Leach
WWCC President
