Les Punches

Leslie D. Punches
Les began his welding career when he graduated from The American Welding School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1978.  He spent 5 years working in heavy construction as a boilermaker and another 9 years in ASME code fabrications shops as a Certified Fitter/Welder.  He came to Western in September 1991 as a part-time welding instructor and quickly earned full time status.  His experience, knowledge and communication skills make him one of the best instructors in the business.  When he's not teaching Les contracts with local companies as a Certified Welding Inspector he also runs our AWS Accredited Testing Lab.

Jeff Braegger
 
Jeff Braegger
Jeff (left) began his career at Western as a student, taking courses in Welding, Industrial Maintenance, Mining Maintenance and Machine Tool Technology.  After graduation Jeff was hired by Western Wyoming Community College as our tool room manager because of his knowledge of the various programs in our Trades and Industry Division.  He has worked at Western for over ten years and has been involved in the welding program for most of that time.  Jeff also teaches summer classes.
