Children's Center

General Information

The WWCC Children's Center operates twelve months of the year following the college schedule. The center is open Monday - Friday, 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Summer hours are 6:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

During fall and spring semesters, children using the Center must be age two and toilet-trained to Kindergarten. Children's CenterFirst and second grade children are allowed to attend during the summer. There are three classes in the Center: Bunnies, age two and toilet-trained; Bears, age three by September 15; Turtles, age four by September 15. Kindergarten children may attend the center on days they do not have public school. Each of the classes is staffed by qualified teachers and aides.

Each parent is asked to fill out a registration card, child history form, immunization record, fee contract and parent's schedule when enrolling his/her child in the in the Children's Center. Any major illness must be reported to the Center promptly.

If children are in the Center at lunch time, they will need to bring a sack lunch. We will provide milk. Nutritional snacks are served morning and afternoon.

If your child will be in the Children's Center for long periods or during nap time, please bring a small blanket and a change of clothes.
