This course has been created and is taught by Hilary Johnson. Hilary holds an Aromatherapy Practitioner diploma with the Atlantic Institute of Aromatherapy, and is a Principal Tutor for the AIA in the western USA. The purpose of this course is to introduce and discuss Aromatherapy and the use of essential oils for health, beauty, and well-being. Students will learn facts about essential oils with details and documented effects of 5 selected oils; discuss methods of delivery and safe and efficacious use in practice. You will also learn which essential oils are safe for children and gain confidence in creating home-made remedies to assist your children’s specific health and emotional concerns. In the first two hours you will create a personal body mist and in the last two hours you will create a blend designed for children. The majority of the class is lecture, with slide presentation, questions and answers, and personal sampling of essential oils. Handouts will also be available.
The  fee includes $10 for the supplies.
