This program is
open to anyone with diabetes and their family members or
caregivers. Classes include information on how to
prepare meals that are healthy and use less fat, salt, and
sugar without cutting taste. There will be an
opportunity to taste some of the recipes.
Healthy recipes
will be shared so you can use them at home.
Dining with Diabetes
in Wyoming is an educational program that teaches
individuals with type 2 diabetes and their families about
better ways to prepare foods that may improve their diabetes
management. Participants also learn up-to-date
information on nutrition, meal planning, daily physical
activity, and how to understand common diabetes-related
medical tests. Recipes and handouts will be given to
each participant.
