Do you want to Pursue a Bachelors or Masters Degree but Can't Leave Home?
WWCC has developed relationships with four-year colleges and universities to provide opportunities for Western graduates and other community members who wish to continue their education by pursuing baccalaureate and masters degrees while remaining in Rock Springs or Green River.
Below are the universities that provide opportunities for you to complete a bachelors or masters degree locally. Some of the courses meet on the Rock Springs campus at specific times, but some you can complete at home at your own speed:
Western has an agreement with Franklin University whereby a WWCC graduate with an Associate of Science degree may complete a bachelor’s degree online in a number of areas.

Site-bound students have the opportunity to complete a bachelor’s degree while living at home through an articulation agreement between WWCC and Regis University. This agreement allows students to complete as many as 90 credits from WWCC plus a minimum of 30 credits from Regis.
The Education program has three options:

Online Programs
Regis offers the following online Bachelor of Science degrees. All students transferring to Regis CPS must have 3 years of work experience.

The transfer guides for these programs (showing what courses students can take at WWCC that will transfer into Regis) can be found at www.transfertoregis.org. Once at the website, click on Transfer Guides on the top left side and then Wyoming. WWCC students may transfer up to 90 credits and can receive a free transcript evaluation by e-mailing atob@regis.edu

The University of Wyoming maintains an Outreach office on the WWCC campus and provides a number of courses over its compressed video system on the RS campus each semester. You may complete your associates and then pursue a variety of bachelors or a masters programs. If you want more information, contact the UW Outreach office to find out more about their programs and to have evaluations completed of your WWCC coursework. Their office is in room 1228. Upper Iowa will transfer a maximum of 78 lower division credits from community colleges. For more information about these online degrees, go to the Upper Iowa website. Kaplan is regionally accredited through North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. WWCC students, employees, and alumni receive a 10% discount on any of any of the 100 online majors for Bachelor’s, Master’s Degrees or Certificate Programs. Kaplan accepts WWCC’s AA or AS Degree as a block transfer, so you start into their Bachelor’s program as a Junior. To ensure you receive the 10% discount, you must go to its website: www.cc.kaplan.edu or call 800-926-9830.
Have other discounts for Criminal Justice majors and military. Cost for textbooks is included in undergraduate tuition.
Classes are 9 weeks: one week for finals and one-week break between semesters. 5 terms each year.

Ashford University and Western Wyoming Community College have entered into an articulation agreement to enable Western Wyoming Community College students who transfer to Ashford to carry with them the credit they have already earned. With Ashford, you can transfer a maximum of 99 credit hours.

Western has an agreement with Mayville State University whereby a WWCC graduate with an A.S., A.A., or A.A.S. can transfer those courses and complete a Bachelors degree via distance in a number of areas. Depending on the credits being transferred in, student will need to take either 30, 36, or 42 credits from Mayville State University to graduate.

The cost for all distance courses from Mayville State University is $258/credit.
National American University has 18 locations in seven states, and an extensive online program. Students who has earned an AA, AS or AAS may be eligible for a block transfer, which transfers credit for college courses (1000 level or above) to be applied to many bachelor degree programs.
