Compass Tests
(Placement Tests)

All students who are degree seeking or full-time are required to take the COMPASS test. Scores are valid as long as the student has continuous attendance at WWCC. Part-time, non-degree seeking students who take math, English or POLS 1000 courses must also complete the placement test.

Students with high ACT scores (23 or higher) may be exempt from the Compass Test.

Students may retake the exam. The cost for retakes is $10.

Workkeys Test Site

The Workkeys is an optional test for vocational students who have not taken the ACT and want to qualify for the Hathaway Scholarship. The test is given at the Evanston Outreach.

Students must register in advance. Tests are administered by appointment only. The Cost is $12.
