The WESTERN EDGE PROGRAM began in 2003 to provide unique learning opportunities in a collegiate atmosphere right here in Evanston for students pursuing postsecondary degrees. Participants are required to be full time, (12 or more credit hours/semester), and to enroll in three common classes per semester the first year, and two out of three per semester the final year. Western Edge Grants will be awarded with priority given to those who have not received a Pell Grant, DVR funding, Hathaway, or WWCC Scholarship.
