Loan Counseling

Entrance Counseling

Each academic year, you are required to complete an entrance loan counseling session before you receive your first loan disbursement. Any loan borrowers at Western are required by the school to complete an on-line entrance counseling or attend a small group entrance counseling session.  Check with the Financial Aid office for scheduled times. If you choose to complete the entrance counseling on-line you may fulfill this requirement by accessing the Entrance  Counseling web site listed above. This site enables you to complete the counseling at a time that is convenient for you. Confirmation of your session is sent to our office.

Exit Counseling

Once you receive a Stafford Loan, you will be required to complete an Exit interview before you leave school. These are also available over the Internet and in group sessions.  You will be notified of the times and dates as your graduation date nears.
