Javier Flores, Financial Aid Director
Javier is responsible for overseeing the financial aid programs at Western Wyoming Community College. He also reviews student appeals, works with consortium agreements and recommends students for WWC Foundation funds. Along with the rest of the financial aid staff, Javier strives to ensure that your experience with the Financial Aid Office is positive. Steve Davis, Financial Aid Loan Officer
Steve is responsible for coordinating Western Wyoming Community College's Direct Loan program. He works with students as they determine whether or not borrowing a student loan is an option for them, and provides default prevention information and services. Steve also serves as the Certifying Official for Veteran Education benefits, as well as our Federal Work Study and Third-Party (DVR, WIA, etc.) billing expert. DeeAnna Archuleta, Financial Aid Federal Specialist
DeeAnna is responsible for exporting and importing electronic records to the Department of Education. DeeAnna processes all of the FAFSA's that student complete for our institution, is responsible for the FAFSA Verification process as well as submitting necessary FAFSA corrections to the Department of Education. Return to Title IV calculations are also performed by DeeAnna: she also awards Federal Pell Grant and the Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant. Mary Stewart, Financial Aid Institutional Specialist
Mary's primary responsibility is to ensure that students receive the funds they have been awarded from Institutional and External scholarship sources. Mary completes evaluations for the Hathaway Merit Scholarships and awards them to the students who qualify. Mary works very closely with our Athletic Department and student athletes to ensure NJCAAA regulations are followed and maintained. Mary will also construct cost of attendance budgets and award funds to students who are not selected for the federal verification process. Lori Paulson, Financial Aid Student Service Representative
Lori's primary responsibility is to provide front-line student service related to financial aid from the enrollment process through graduation, including greeting students, families, faculty and staff personally, telephonically, or electronically, assessing the services needed, and referring the student to the appropriate resource(s). Lori also collects required documents from students, invoices the documents, and forwards them to the appropriate team member.
