My name is Megan Lyman and I’m the Gear Up Specialist in Lyman and work closely with the Mountain View students.  I loved college and I want every student to have the same opportunity I did to pursue my education beyond high school. 

I grew up in Utah and attended the University of Utah, studied abroad with Brigham Young University, and graduated with a BS in Education from Utah State. (Go Aggies!)  I taught grades 3-7 for seven years and also tutored high school and college students.  Education is my passion!

My husband Bart, (a proud Wyoming native), and I have a daughter and a son that we love to hang out with--especially in the outdoors.  We spend a lot of time biking, hiking, riding horses, fishing, swimming, reading books, attending concerts, and playing games.

I feel privileged to be associated with Gear Up.  If Gear Up was around when I was finishing high school, I wouldn’t still be paying off student loans!  Call me anytime and let me help you or your student get a college education—for free!
