Biology is “the” hot field of study right now. Television programs such as CSI and its spin offs have made people realize the power of biological investigation these days. At Western, students have the opportunity to learn from outstanding faculty with terminal degrees in their field as well as years of teaching and research experience. We provide students the opportunity that usually only graduate students have: the chance to engage in cutting edge research in the area of their interest. We offer programs to prepare students for degrees with a focus on pre-medicine, physical therapy, as well as wildlife biology, rangeland ecology, and forestry. The College has articulation agreements with many universities in the area, so that the courses here transfer as direct equivalents to those offered at the University of Utah and University of Wyoming, for instance, among other schools.
