Student Comments

Hi, my name is Julie Maxfield. I graduated from WWCC with my Associate Degree in Office Information Systems in May 2007. As I was contemplating where to turn to further my education, I put my focus towards getting a Certificate in Web Development in May 2008. I have learned so much about designing and developing a web site. My knowledge of computers added to the excellent classes taught at WWCC helped to expand my learning. JavaScript, Web Development I & II as well as various other courses taught me a large number of Web Development skills. I would recommend this program to anyone seeking knowledge of Web Development.

  • "This course is a great class for learning more about computers.  The course is challenging, but fair, and I feel that it is important for a degree in this field.  I feel that the course is a little fast and at times too challenging.  Although I feel that I will be able to walk away from this class knowing a large amount of information."

Computer Science Internships

  • I love the Computer Science classes here at Western Wyoming Community College.  They are a lot of fun and I learn a lot from the classes that I have taken.  I also love the Web Development classes and the internships that are available.  The internship is great because I have learned stuff for Web Development and it gets me wonderful Job experience.  ~ Crystal Moyer, Rock  Springs, WY (2008)

  • I learned many new computer technologies in the Computer Science and Web Development classes such as C++ and JavaScript. I also learned how to do group projects well not only computer programming and I think the experience will help me when I work with others in a company.  I also did an internship and gained some job experience related to Computer Science and Web Development.  I am very pleased that I could take these classes the past two years. Mrs. Hester-Croff helped me a lot when I did not understand in class and understood for me my position, which I am learning English as second language.  ~ Daishiro Taira - International Student from Japan (2008)
