 Teachers change lives – they open new worlds for students and inspire them to reach their goals. The education department provides programs and classes for students who want to be teachers. Western offers students three program options: early childhood, elementary, and secondary teacher preparation.

One of the strengths of Western’s Education program is the opportunity you will have to be in the public schools or preschools while you are a freshman or a sophomore. At WWCC you will experience hands-on what
